  • This was Penguin's second bootcamp in Paraguay! In this two-week camp, 25 participants of all ages gathered to learn Python in Asunción. The course was complemented with workshops on robotics, Internet of Things and web development. The bootcamp ended with a hackathon where students worked on their own projects, launching everything they learned in class. The bootcamp is to provide participants with tools that allow them continue their learning path on their own, as well as give them the opportunity to contribute to the Paraguayan community.

    IoT project based on a device that helps to detect a goal in football matches or similar sports, using laser sensors and a website on where you can see the score of the match in real time.

    Freepy, is a web platform for freelancers, people who work independently and provide different types of services. The platform allows the registration of people who they want to share their services, and allows to organize by category.

    Smart Parking

    Yanina, Santiago, Claudia, Matias, Nidia

    IoT project based on the monitoring of places in the staging to display the information in real time, of the state of the place inside a parking lot. The project allows to see inside a web app the state of the parking places. Is very useful since time is not wasted looking for places in a parking lot.

    LiT, Scholarship website

    Lit, is a platform to look for scholarship opportunities, find information detailed about the scholarship you are looking for. It also informs about the requirements that are needed to apply and connects you with former fellows to make a process of easier and attainable application.

    Tourist guide

    The project is a web platform where a person who visits a place, and wants a guide, can access the platform and choose a tour guide, and who better guides than a local he knows his area perfectly.
